NO summer in the Philippines

summer!... summer!... summer!...

Just noticed that a lot of Filipinos consider this time of the year as summer… yeah, summer is the warmest time of the year but hey, technically there is no summer in the Philippines…

In a tropical country like Philippines, there are only two seasons, the wet/rainy and dry/hot seasons...

Using temperature and rainfall as bases, the climate of the country can be divided into two major seasons: (1) the rainy season, from June to November; and (2) the dry season, from December to May. The dry season may be subdivided further into (a) the cool dry season, from December to February; and (b) the hot dry season, from March to May. (PAGASA)

While America (and other country) has four seasons, summer, winter, fall/autumn and spring… and oh, you should know that summer in America is from June to August (Northern Hemisphere) and December to February (Southern Hemisphere).

Conclusion: vacation time in the Philippines is not summer but hot dry season… ;)

And yeah, that’s the reason why I avoid the term summer… lol

Kissing Scene Photos in friendster

on march 2, 2008 i posted about the four kinds of of photos people usually post in friendster... later i realized that i missed something.. there is a number 5 to the list.. and that is the "kissing scene" photo... yeah, i notice (and a friend of mine agreed) that more and more people who are in a relationship would take a picture of themselves kissing each other and post it in friendster... oh well, the world is getting liberated... lol

neweiz, i dont have a pic like that... im not yet a member to the "with-kissing-scene-photos club".. harhar... but just watch out, a bug might enter to my brain and i might post something like that.. harharharhar...

and oh, for those guys out there who have a kissing-scene photo in there friendster but the relationship is not yet legal to their parents, isusumbong ko kayo sa nanay ninyo... waaaaahhhhhh.. hahaha

well, i just noticed that there are a lot of people in friendster or myspace or any networking sites with photos taken in front of a mirror or worst, in a CR (eeeewwwww.. hahahaha). i guess there are four different kinds of pictures people in friendster usually love to take...

1. self portrait taken infront of a mirror...

my reason for taking a picture of myself infront of a mirror is because i can see how i look...

2. photo taken infront of a mirror inside a CR.

this usually happen, when we have just finished fixing ourselves... hahaha...

happy monthsary

when i first heard of the term MONTHSARY from a friend, there was a big question mark in my face... i wondered if there really is such a term...
so, when i saw mr. webster lying down in my bed one night, i remembered about the term monthsary. i asked him about the meaning of it but he doesn't know...

so i was like, hey there is no such term as monthsary... duh!...

i usually hear the term monthsary from the mouths of my friends.... so again i checked the term online... in the online dictionary but there is no meaning...
even MS Word doesn't recognize it... Mozilla firefox the web browser doesnt recognize it too...

oh well, i guess the term monthsary is short for month long anniversary... people love coining terms and shortening it... lol
